Diane Morin joined the Department of Psychology at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al as a professor in 2001 and has held the Chair in Intellectual Disability and Behavioural Disorders since 2008. Her research interests include behavioural, physical and mental health disorders in children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders; the evaluation of programs and services for these individuals, their families and caregivers; as well as the attitudes of the general population and professionals towards intellectual disabilities. Her research is carried out with a view to finding concrete solutions to the difficulties encountered by people with an intellectual disability or an autism spectrum disorder, their families and caregivers.<\/p>

At the same time, she is very active in the community, participating on numerous boards and committees of organizations and associations related to intellectual disabilities. On the personal level, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois was involved for many years with minor field hockey in his region. He learned more about the Special Olympics Quebec movement when he met its founder in 2003. He also took part in activities for the Law enforcement torch run (CAF) race in Montreal. In 2018, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Qu\u00e9bec. His role on the Board of Directors of the Montreal Police Brotherhood enables him to promote the Special Olympics Quebec movement and the Law Enforcement Torch Run activities among his 4,500 active colleagues and the 5,000 retirees of the Montreal Police Department.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
