Two new talents in the Special Olympics Quebec team

It is with great pleasure that Special Olympics Quebec announces the arrival of two new members to its team. Ms. Geneviève Laurendeau will act as Volunteer Experience Manager and Mr. Julien Cadieux-Seers will coordinate the events of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR).

A specialized educator for more than 10 years in a rehabilitation center, Geneviève Laurendeau has acquired solid experience through her work with clients requiring specific and particular needs.

Geneviève will be responsible for the volunteer experience at Special Olympics Quebec. Her role will be to provide ongoing support to local sections and ensure fluidity and efficient organization during the reception, integration and volunteer experience.

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in communications, Julien Cadieux-Seers worked for the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Department as a 911 dispatcher for several years. This experience acquired in the police environment will be very useful in his role with the LETR, where he will coordinate fundraising activities.

“We are very pleased to welcome these two new talents to our team,” says Francine Gendron, Executive Director of Special Olympics Quebec. “Geneviève and Julien are full of enthusiasm and represent important assets for the team.”

Geneviève Laurendeau and Julien Cadieux-Seers are already in office, but the board of directors and the team would like to extend them a warm welcome.
