Thank you, Thierry-LeRoux Foundation!

The Thierry-LeRoux bike ride took place from September 25 to 27 and raised just over $33,000, of which $15,000 will be donated to Special Olympics Québec. This year, the ride began at the École nationale de police du Québec (in Nicolet) and ended on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Several dozen cyclists covered the more than 400 km route.

The Thierry-LeRoux Foundation organizes this ride every year to honor the memory of police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty and to raise funds to improve the quality of life of young people aged 4 to 25. In 2023, the Thierry LeRoux Memorial Ride and the Peace Officers Torch Run (CAF) joined forces to support the Special Olympics Quebec school program.

Among the participants in the 2025 walk were Audrey Vincent, Special Olympics Québec athlete, Pascal Richard, Chief Inspector with the Montreal Police Service (SPVM) and provincial assistant director of the CAF, Mathieu Tremblay, inspector with the Gatineau Police Service and member of the CAF provincial committee, and Jonathan Rannou, inspector with the Longueuil Police Service and member of the CAF provincial committee.

Congratulations to everyone for this wonderful event!
