With their heads full of memories, their hearts full of joy, and their eyes full of pride, Équipe Québec is back home with 91 medals.

Congratulations to all the athletes! Thank you to the coaches, mission staff, and volunteers who made it possible for the athletes to shine at the Special Olympics Canada Games in Medicine Hat 2026!

On Monday morning at Montreal-Trudeau Airport, Équipe Québec athletes received a spectacular welcome!

Joining them to celebrate their return was the Law Enforcement Torch Run, a long-standing partner and valued ally of Special Olympics Québec.

A huge thank you to the members of the various agencies who came together to be there and make this homecoming such a special moment, including the Sûreté du Québec, the Montreal Police Service (SPVM), the @Laval Police Service, the Canada Border Services Agency, and the Longueuil Metropolitan Police Service.

After a week filled with competitions, pushing their limits, and emotional moments, the athletes were deeply moved to discover this outpouring of support upon their arrival.

These moments perfectly illustrate the strength of the partnership between law enforcement officers and Special Olympics Québec. This ongoing support makes a huge difference in the lives of athletes with autism or intellectual disabilities and helps build an increasingly inclusive society.

Thank you for standing by them, celebrating their successes, and believing in them.
