March 1: exciting day in Calgary

Nice harvest of medals for Quebec on March 1. In cross -country skiing, Camille Ferland (bronze), Rachel Chevrette (silver), Olivier Martel (silver) and Samuel Bélisle (bronze) won medals.

At snowshoeing, Rachelle Parent (Gold), Audrey Larose-Rapin (silver), Renée Pelletier (Bronze), Sébastien Hamel-Bourdeau (gold) and Raphaël St-Hilaire (Bronze) also collected rewards.

In figure skating, Emmanuel Loutfallah (bronze), Jade Charrière (silver), Camille Provencher (silver), Stéphanie Lachance (silver), Océane Rajotte (Gold) won medals.

Finally, in speed skating, Philip Ste-Marie won 3 medals, 2 gold and one silver.

Two floor hockey finals

At the floor hockey, team Quebec 1 won its last match of the tournament against Comox Valley (CB) 3-1 to go to the semi-finals. This semi-final was played a little later in the day and resulted in a 7-2 victory against Saskatchewan.

Team Quebec 2 also won its last match against Timberwolves (AB) 9-1. In the semi-finals, Quebec defeated New Brunswick 11-1.

The two finals will be disputed today and presented on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@spercialocanada/streams). Team Quebec 2 will face Peterborough (ON) at 10 a.m. (Calgary), so Midi Time du Québec while team Quebec 1 will try to win gold against Prince Edward Island at 11 a.m. (Calgary), 1 p.m. Quebec.
