Your chance to discover Special Olympics Quebec!

Special Olympics Quebec invites people with autism or living with an intellectual disability and their caregivers to try out different sports.

This free discovery and initiation day will be held on Saturday March 23 between 8 a.m. and noon at the Cégep de Maisonneuve located a stone’s throw from the Pie-IX metro station.

People who would like to become volunteer coaches are also invited to join the discovery activity.

A unique opportunity to discover sports disciplines offered by Special Olympics Quebec in your area.

  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Boccia
  • Rhythmic Gymnastics
  • Swimming (there will be no introduction to swimming, but this discipline will be offered in the coming weeks)

Schedule of discovery and initiation activities

• 8:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.: soccer, boccia

• 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: basketball, rhythmic Gymnastics

Registration for the free discovery and initiation activity

Special Olympics Quebec activities are aimed at people with autism or those living with an intellectual disability. We ask you to register by email at cletourneau@olympiquesspeciaux.qc.ca indicating your name and the activity(ies) in which you wish to participate. It is also possible to come on site on the morning of March 23, but places are limited and you may not be able to participate.
